In my 25 year career as a scientific glassblower, I have used decals from at least four different manufacturers. All of them were sufficient, but one person stands out on quality: Hendrixson.
I first encountered the Hendrixsons in 2017 at the American Scientific Glassblowers Society (ASGS) annual symposium in Austin, TX. Since they were a new vendor, I thought I’d give them a try. As a glass engineer at one of the largest consumer products manufacturers in the world, I was always in the market for good solid vendors. I have found Hendrixson responsive and the turn around times to be quite fast.
Most important thing is the QUALITY! HGD are SECOND TO NONE! They apply like butter, don’t tear and fuse into the glass like a dream. Colors are as vibrant and strong as before they are fired. Del personally works with you to get your design to be EXACTLY what you want and delivers them when you need them.

Del made sure that my decals came out just the way I wanted. Working with him was very easy and a lot of fun! The decals are beautiful and fun to work with . I’m totally satisfied as a client. Del makes all clients feel special and has incredible patience in working with us artists. I am a soft glass artist for pendants and many other items. I live in Mexico City and studied Visual Art in Mexico but also studied at Corning, Urban Glass in NYC and Murano in Italy.

Together with Del’s art and design talents we created my little Cats, Dinosaurs, Pizza slices and Chicks! Such fun! We also produced free flowing lines and zigzags that are for my cups, rings, bracelets and other art projects! In addition to my personal 24K Precious Gold Signature stamp! WE had a great time speaking in Spanish as well since Del lived in Mexico and his Spanish is very authentic! We haven’t done a project since last year but we are good friends on IG and FB!
