I do MY very best to build trusting relationships with each of my clients. Therefore you can rest assured that while we may be BS’ng and going over all the minute details of your project, you are being treated as a friend and as our #1 client no matter how big or small your production is. So together we’ll create your layout and final draft proof before printing - and when you love it just give us the GO and we are heading into films, screens and onto the press, and out the door! I feel secure in that what you approve we can print and usually in record time. Just remember, art that comes to me the size of a basketball and you want it to be the size of your fingernail could be a problem. Because the lines in the art at 10” huge will be reduced down to .10 or one tenth of an inch. And that is about as thick as an eyelash. It will NOT print through a screen no matter how fine we use.
However we are known for making the impossible happen time and time again.
If you have a nice design at 10” huge like for a shirt or sign etc., That same design most likely will not reduce down to 1/2” tall or wide. Keep it in proportion! If we reduce that logo down to 1/2” may suffer some consequences. May need some $$ Art development time.
REMEMBER - WE PRINT YOUR ART THROUGH A FINE MESH SCREEN. 260 - 330 MESHES. YOU MAY NOTICE SLIGHTEST SERRATIONS OF EDGES OF YOUR ART. THIS IS DUE TO THE MESH OF THE SCREEN AS IT FORCES THE INK THROUGH IT. ** ALL AIR DRY SCREEN PRINTING SUCH AS BORO / QUARTZ FRIT INKS WILL HAVE THIS CUSTOM PRINTED SERIGRAPHIC QUALITY.
If you have an ‘artist’ or a friend preparing art or designs for you - Caution!! It may not work for this process. No PENCIL. No PENCIL ARTS. And just because they save it as an .AI or .PDF etc doesn’t mean it is a true vector art. We only print with VECTOR IMAGES.
Before your graphic designer or artist goes to a lot of trouble and time to create a design please discuss it with me first. Many many times those efforts will not produce top quality finest decals.
We work day and night and often take naps in the daytime due to the Xtreme heat here in the lovely High Desert in the heat of the day. Our printing and ink mix laboratory are side by side in laid back but highly controlled tight compact space. The most important task in our 5,000 ft. creative studios is the tiniest in order to have access to manually flip air conditioners on - off - back on again - while printing your jobs. turn fans on to dry
SO Better to please confirm first that your art is camera ready and is allowable the slight mesh count which art you have and how’s best to proceed.
Thanks!
